I think these are so cute. It's one of the things that makes me stop and say, "I can't believe I made those!" My little boy is not interesting in wearing them at this point, but I do get a pair on once in a while. =) His favorite are the fire trucks underwear. I made one pair of undies for my daughter, too, also from this pattern. It's fun to come up with fabric combinations.
